MWH Constructors acquired Slayden Construction Group, Inc.

In January 2016, MWH Constructors acquired Slayden Construction Group, Inc., now known as Slayden Constructors, Inc. Slayden, based in Stayton, Oregon, has operated in the Pacific Northwest region for more than 30 years and is a leader in the construction industry. MWH Constructors and Slayden have partnered in the past on projects, including the $22.7 million Corona Del Mar Water Treatment Plant for the Goleta Water District in Goleta, California and a joint venture with B&E Electric to upgrade the filtration system to the Riverside Park Water Reclamation Facility in Spokane, Washington.

“Both MWH Constructors and Slayden have similar values and company cultures, which emphasizes the success of projects based on strength of team, hard work and a passion for safety,” said Blair Lavoie, president of MWH Constructors. “We are pleased to welcome the Slayden employees, who will continue to bring project delivery and construction excellence to our clients in the water and wastewater sector.”
