This shoreline improvement and flood restoration project for Portland Development Commission included environmentally sensitive construction along the Willamette River. This project was a proposal based/GMP construction project, including 20,000 tons of rip rap in- and above-water bank restoration, 54,000 square feet of concrete sidewalk, concrete overlooks, site utilities and landscaping. Slayden performed constructability review and value engineering of the additional garden work, which was an owner-elective contract addition.
