Stayton Wastewater Treatment Plant

This project was an expansion to the Treatment Plant for the City of Stayton. The project included construction of a new selector cell, filter structure, sludge drying and storage building, sludge storage tank, UV building over existing open channels and a shop. Specific new equipment included a sludge dryer, three-belt belt filter press, odor control unit, cooling tower, floating aerator, submersible mixer, three bays of cloth filters, screw conveyor and belt conveyor. Equipment was removed and replaced under strict shutdown requirements in order to keep the existing plant’s processes operational.
