Hermiston Recycled Water Plant Improvements

The goal of this project was to remove a priority persistent pollutant found in its effluent and improve water quality for residents. This unique project integrated a new 6 MGD membrane filtration system into the existing 2 MGD plant. This project also included upgrades to existing headwork’s structure including new screens, and a new fine screen structure with two rotary drum fine screens. New slide gates in the channels, construction of MBR and aeration basins, pump station with an additional support building including pumps, blowers for declorination, new chemical rooms, offices, site work and staging.
