Hermiston Recycled Water Plant Improvements

The City of Hermiston prioritized this $18M DBB project that removed a persistent pollutant in its effluent and improved the water quality for residents. It integrated a new 6 MGD membrane filtration system into an existing 2 MGD. It also included upgrades to the existing headworks structure including new screens and a new fine screen structure with two rotary drum fine screens. Slayden also constructed new slide gates in the channels, new MBR and aeration basins, a pump station with an additional support building including pumps, blowers for dichlorination, new chemical rooms, offices, site work, and staging.
