This work is for improvements to the entrance (downstream end) of the north shore fish ladder. The improvements are to address existing fish passage delays. Work elements include water management, dive work, partial demolition and rebuilding of the fish ladder entrance for a variable width weir, and new stoplogs and stoplog guide slots, steel fabrication, providing steel gratings and supports for diffusers, improving the controls at the diffusers with new slide gates and actuators, concrete removal in flow chambers, Government Furnished Property relocation, crane support for research operations, concrete beam and wall installation, existing trashrack removal and replacement with new trashracks and installation of new Passive Integrated Tag (PIT) system.
